A Message to Our Policyholders
Deferred Renewal Payment for Policyholders
As the NASW Risk Retention Group continues to take proactive steps during these unprecedented times, the well-being of our policyholders is our highest priority. We understand the challenges that many are experiencing, and we’re committed to making sure our valued policyholders have the support they need.
The unfortunate reality is that many of our policyholders may find themselves facing financial difficulties in the coming weeks and months. Therefore, we have put provisions in place to allow extra time to renew your liability insurance policy while still maintaining your coverage.
We are committed to ensuring that no policy will be canceled because of non-payment during our national state of emergency period of March 11, 2020, through June 30, 2020. And as a valued policyholder, we want you to have peace of mind knowing you will not have a lapse in coverage if you are struggling.
60-Day Deferred Renewal Payment – To support policyholders who may be experiencing financial hardships, we are extending your renewal payment date by 60 days, if you need it. This extended renewal period applies to policyholders with expiration dates in April, May, and June 2020. Your renewal premium is not being waived but extended by 60 days, starting from your expiration date. And your policy dates will remain the same.
Our Customer Service Center – We are still open and available for our policyholders while respecting and maintaining social distancing initiatives. If you have questions about renewing your policy or need to discuss additional accommodations to meet your specific needs, please call us at 855-835-2160 Monday-Friday 7:00 am to 7:00 pm CST.
Additional COVID-19 Resources – Many behavioral health professionals are concerned about the impact of the coronavirus on themselves, their family, and the people and communities they serve. We have been working to empower our policyholders so that you can continue to serve your clients wherever you are during this national public health emergency.
Visit our dedicated COVID-19 resource page for additional resources (click here).
We will continue to monitor the impact of the Coronavirus (COVID-19) and determine if additional provisions need to be made. We thank you for being a valued policyholder.
